INTRODUCTION FROM THE AUTHOR
Although its fantastical ads portray Walt Disney
World as a place of innocence, ease, and joy, planning a vacation
there is often anything but. Unlike more popular party destinations
where you can generally book a flight, hotel, and party pass in a
single mouse click, a Disney vacation requires careful planning and
research. Every year countless students decide, "Screw Acapulco!
We're going to Disney World!" Soon they will find that a
complicated universe of Fast Passes, Park Hoppers, and Extra Magic
Hours lies between them and this magical destination.
All an awesome Disney spring break takes is a little extra
planning, but it isn't for everyone. If your ideal spring break is
filled with endless clubbing, booze, and debauchery, then Disney
will inevitably let you down. If you're the kind of person who only
watches Disney movies to look for the hidden sexual innuendos, you
should probably spend your money elsewhere. But if you're a true
Disney fan and have no problem with the planning, then the payback
is huge. With a seemingly endless array of activities, rides,
restaurants, and shops, Disney World is far more than just flying
elephants and pirate rides---it's a state of mind. Embrace your
inner kid and make the most out of your spring break in the "House
of Mouse."
