What to Do if You're Underage
If you're underage or bored with other nightlife options, there
are plenty of things to do such as bowling, go-cart racing, going
to the movies, or renting a bike or skates.
Students Speak Out On . . . NIGHTLIFE
"Make
sure to stop by Kokomo. Everyone will find their spring break
someone there."
"Red Room has some of the best drink specials. On Wednesdays,
ladies drink half price and get in the giant red doors for
free."
"The Desert Martini was one of my favorites---Frank Sinatra
music, delicious dirty martinis, and cigar smoke."
"I don't think I have danced that hard or that much ever. We
were still dancing as they were closing the bar because of how much
fun we were having. Plus, the man of my dreams was there."
"I asked everyone we met what the plan was for the evening. This
led us to a house party, followed by a houseboat party, followed by
a bar party."
"To be 100 percent honest, I got sick of the bar scene
fast."
The College Prowler Take On . . . NIGHTLIFE
A lot of
the clubs in Lake Havasu are only open during spring break and on
major holidays. Kokomo is best for cutting a rug, listening to Top
40 hits, and hooking up; FireHouse is the place to chill out and
play pool, darts, or beer pong; and Desert Martini is perfect for a
classy night filled with a dark, romantic setting and martinis to
die for. Finding all the hidden gems in the city is something the
locals pride themselves on, so definitely take their advice on
where to go for the best drink specials because they are few and
far between during spring break.
There are only a couple of main bars within walking distance that
spring breakers can easily access, and going to those bars for four
nights in a row gets a little boring. To prevent that from
happening, make sure to check out all the little bars and lounges
around to change up the pace of the evening. But be warned: the
police officers here are sticklers for making sure people don't
drink and drive, so make sure to get the number of a local taxi
before heading out. Depending on if you are going to hook up
or just relax, Lake Havasu City seems to embrace all bar
types.
The College Prowler Grade On . . . NIGHTLIFE

A high grade in Nightlife indicates that there
are many bars and clubs in the area that are easily accessible and
affordable. Other determining factors include the number of options
for the underage crowd.
