Being that it is spring break and the average blood alcohol content is extremely high, the guys and girls are more than friendly. Everyone wants to hang out and have one massive party, which is usually what happens. When all the boats are tied together in Copper Canyon, it is impossible not to make a friend or find a potential hookup. "Random hookup" describes only the most adventurous during spring break, but make sure you have a place to do what you need to do because nobody wants to see a couple out in public.

Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls

The boats seem to transport lots of attractive people back and forth from the party cove to the beaches, so the diversity of guys and girls grows exponentially during the day. It may feel like you have already seen everyone, but someone may have gotten sunburned or taken a siesta during the day and will be out at the bars later that night. Each bar has its own flavor of hookups, depending on your taste. You might want to ask the nearest babe where he or she is off to for the night, but do it subtly. No cheesy pick up lines, please.

St. Patrick's Day generally falls right in the middle of spring break, so make sure to bring green. If pasties gross you out, make sure you stay clear of the boats on St. Patty's Day because apparently that is the accessory of the day---they are just shaped into four-leaf clovers.

Dress Code

It can be nearly 100 degrees during the daytime, and at night, people are sun burnt and warm from all the alcohol, so less is best when it comes to the dress code for guys and girls. But depending on which bar you decide to go to, some do not allow tank tops or jerseys for guys.

There are the good, the bad, and the ugly in Lake Havasu during spring break. You will see multiple babes puking their brains out either because of heat stroke or because they drank too much. But other than the few rocks in the box, there are plenty of lovely-looking people wearing almost nothing, which is the great thing about spring break by the water---everyone is half naked. Among the spring breakers, there is a nice hodgepodge of students in Greek life and just plain old party people who want to grill, eat, and drink. Also, there is a nice ratio of guys to girls, so no one is out of luck when traveling to Lake Havasu for spring break.

One of the best places to find a guy or girl is at the beach, where half-naked spring breakers are grilling plenty of food---they probably have extra, so just ask! Another good place is at the Red Room, where even the name just lures attractive people into the dark setting where everyone is sipping on cocktails.
