Best Areas to Stay

Students Speak Out On . . . ACCOMMODATIONS
"Not
only was the hotel awesome, but the staff knows that spring break
is crazy mayhem, so they were quite tolerant with the few
belligerents who strolled in the door."
"We stayed at the London Bridge Resort, which was perfect. There
are three swimming pools if you get sick of lake water."
"London Bridge Resort has the best bar in Havasu---Kokomo.
Staying there was nice because you could stumble home at 2 a.m.
without having to worry about a cab or if your DD is really
sober."
"I would have rented a houseboat if we were going to stay there
longer, but some rental agencies have a minimum of about a
week."
The College Prowler Take On . . . ACCOMMODATIONS
A majority
of the spring breakers seem to hang out near the London Bridge,
which makes perfect sense because it has water access and there are
plenty of restaurants and bars. Also, the boats dock up around the
bridge, so if you want to hop on one with some new friends, this is
the spot. A main hotel where people stay is the London Bridge
Resort. It is nice, clean, has all the amenities one could ask for,
and is pretty cheap when you split the cost with friends. Also,
being so close to the dock where all the boats get ready for the
day on the water is convenient. There are tons of bars, clubs, and
restaurants located near the London Bridge Resort and the other
hotels in this vicinity.
Your best bet is to use a travel search engine to find a decent
hotel in a decent location for a decent price, but book it ASAP
because when March rolls around, there are few places available
that are affordable. Other than hotels and motels, camping or
renting a houseboat are the next most popular means of
accommodation.

A high Accommodations grade implies that
accommodations are clean, affordable, accessible, and worth
visiting. Other factors include the variety of amenities and the
availability of alternative options.
